It is my honor and privilege to address you as the new President of the Korean Social Science Research Council.
I am humbled by my predecessors whose academic achievement and dedication to the social sciences have paved way for all of us. I appreciate your warm support and enthusiasm which made this presidency possible and I promise to do my best to live up to your trust.
Since its founding in 1976, KOSSREC has been a central focus and network that encompassed various social science associations throughout Korea. For 30 years, KOSSREC has been a leader in academic cross-pollination among its members and I am very proud to be a part of such a prestigious organization.
During my term, I would like set forth the following goals:
